Crowfoot Glacier

Towering above the legendary Icefields Parkway, the Crowfoot Glacier clings dramatically to the sheer face of Crowfoot Mountain, creating one of the most recognizable landmarks in Banff National Park. Named for its striking resemblance to a massive three-toed crow's foot, this ancient ice formation tells a powerful story of our changing planet. While the third "toe" has largely melted away over the last century, the remaining glacier remains a breathtaking spectacle of blue ice and rugged rock. It stands as a majestic, living reminder of the fragile and fleeting beauty of the Canadian Rockies.
