Activity is about 4 hours. Drive for about 1 hour to reach the foot of the waterfall mountain, then hike for about 40 minutes through the primitive forest valley to reach the top of the waterfall, occasionally encountering Breeding birds flying overhead. Along the way, you’ll encounter various mountain rocks, mineral deposits, and jungle trails, resembling an untouched wilderness, allowing visitors to fully appreciate the beautiful autumn scenery of the Northwest Territories. The waterfall cascades 17 meters, and beneath it lies the oldest rock layer in the Northwest Territories, with unique sedimentary textures that tell the story of billions of years of history, making it an excellent natural educational trail in Yellowknife.
