You will embark on a specialized Aurora Hunting tour, the most effective way to capture the lights. Led by experienced guides who know the terrain like hunters, you will chase the Aurora across various lakes and scenic spots, finding the perfect breaks in the clouds. A highlight of this season is the visit to the Sky Dome (Glass Igloo). Modeled after traditional Inuit igloos and constructed with 166 panes of glass, this panoramic structure provides a stunning, photogenic backdrop for your night under the stars.
• Winter Aurora Experience (December – April): For those visiting in the snowy winter months, your arrival includes a transfer to the hotel and a professional fitting for rental winter clothing and snow boots (November to March), ensuring you stay warm in the Arctic climate. Following dinner and leisure time, your Aurora Hunting experience begins (typically from 9:00 PM to 2:00 AM). Our veteran guides will drive you through the wilderness to track down the elusive lights. During the tour, you will have access to a Warm Wooden Cabin, where you can relax with complimentary hot coffee, tea, and snacks while waiting for the show to begin.
