VanDusen Botanical Garden
VanDusen Botanical Garden, initially a golf course owned by the Canadian Pacific Railway, was later transformed into a botanical garden through the collaborative efforts of the government, local philanthropists, and Mr. VanDusen. The garden was named after Mr. VanDusen in recognition of his contributions.
Situated in the west side of Vancouver, VanDusen Botanical Garden spans 22 hectares and is home to over 7,500 plant varieties, totaling 255,000 plants from regions like South Africa, the Himalayas, Canada, the Pacific Northwest, and more. It houses numerous rare species, making it a world-class botanical haven.
